Automated PFAS Extraction for Water Analysis
Modular, Expandable, and Reliable
Procceses 8 samples in parallel
Automated PFAS extraction System
The EconoTrace® Parallel SPE System is specifically designed to enhance laboratory workflows for PFAS analysis, providing a streamlined and efficient solution for sample preparation. This advanced system automates manual Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) techniques, replacing labor-intensive Liquid-Liquid Extraction methods and outdated semi-automated instruments.
The EconoTrace system integrates extraction, drying, and concentration into a single automated workflow, offering laboratories a comprehensive sample preparation solution. Once samples are loaded onto the system, the automated process begins. The sample is passed through the SPE cartridge at a precisely controlled flow rate, ensuring optimal extraction efficiency. The subsequent drying step, using nitrogen gas, eliminates the need for manual drying, significantly reducing the risk of contamination.
After extraction and drying, the analytes of interest are eluted directly into the SuperVap Concentrator, where the extract is automatically concentrated to a final volume in an autosampler vial, ready for PFAS analysis. This seamless automation minimizes the risk of human error, prevents compound loss, and ensures highly accurate and reproducible results.
By consolidating these critical steps, the EconoTrace Parallel SPE System delivers faster processing times, improved reproducibility, and enhanced accuracy, making it the ideal solution for laboratories conducting PFAS analysis in water, soil, food, or other matrices.
